My guess is this was taken in Newberry or Baraga, the Soo Line went from the Soo Sault Marie Michigan straight across to Marquette, then over to Superior Wisconsin.

Louis Brzuchalski General Could use a little of this white stuff right now, but we'll be complaining about the cold weather in a few months. It does look "cold". Must have been taken in the 1930's. Good crisp photo. 8/6/2006 4:43:04 AM
Logan Schupp General This could not have been taken in Newberry or Baraga because that is Duluth South Shore and Atlantic trackage. Soo Line didnt buy DSS&A untill the steam was gone in the 60's My guess is that this was taken in Manistique Michigan as this depot is very simalar to what it looked like before it was given a WC style facelift. 7/17/2011 1:38:15 AM
